Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the quickest way, and you do not need to wait for us. Open FrixonFree, go to Account, then Delete account. Everything is explained before anything happens, and you can change your mind for 30 days.

It works the same on the web at app.frixonfree.com and in the iPhone and Android apps.

Ask us to delete it

If you cannot get into your account, or you have already removed the app, send us a request and we will handle it. We answer within the time required by law, and normally much sooner.

We will need to confirm who you are before deleting anything, so please use the email address you signed in with. That check protects you: without it, anyone could ask us to delete your shop.

You can also email privacy@frixonfree.com directly if you would rather not use the form.

What happens when you delete

If you own the shop

Deleting the owner's account closes the whole shop. Everyone loses access, and the jobs, quotes and invoices are deleted for all of them, not just for you.

If you are leaving but the business carries on, hand the shop to another admin instead. Nothing is deleted that way and nobody loses access. You can then delete your own account like anyone else. Both options are in the app under Account, then Delete account.

If the shop is genuinely closing, take your records first. You can ask us for a full export of jobs, customers and invoices as spreadsheet files, and it is worth doing before the 30 days are up, because afterwards it is gone.

What we keep, and why

After the 30 days we delete the shop's data. We keep our own billing records, meaning what we charged and whether it was paid, because we are required to hold those for tax purposes. We also keep counts that cannot identify anybody, such as how many shops used FrixonFree in a month.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which keeps its own records under its own policies. Full detail is in the retention, account closure and deletion section of our Privacy Policy, and in our Terms of Service.
